Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) is a benefit for low-income consumers that will show up as a discount on your bill for High-Speed Home Internet. The U.S. Congress and President established this benefit in 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic emergency. Enroll by December 31 you will get up to a $50 monthly discount for two extra months before it drops to $30 by March 2022. Click headline for more information!

The El Monte City School District will be closed from Monday, November 22 through Friday, November 26 for Thanksgiving Break. We will resume our regular daily schedule on Monday, November 29.
CA State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tony Thurmond visited Rio Hondo School in El Monte City School District on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. The purpose of the visit was to observe the District's Nutrition Services program as well as the school's day-to-day operations. Mr. Thurmond has been a major advocate for Universal Student Meals and wanted to see firsthand how Districts are tackling meal service, especially during the pandemic.
