El Monte City School District Child Development Programs is now taking applications for the 2021-2022 program year. If you have a child between the ages of 9 month to 5 years old or are expecting a child, please call at (626) 452-9164 Ext 3150. Space is still available for the current 2020-2021 program year. In observance of Lincoln's Birthday and President's Day, the District will be closed on Monday, 2/8 and Monday, 2/15. This means our meal distribution will also be closed on those Mondays. As of right now, EMCSD will remain in Distance Learning as it reconvenes it's Reopening Taskforce to discuss possible reopening scenarios and timelines. LA County and OptumServe have added three more testing dates to the Jeff Seymour Family Center: January 25th, 26th, and 28th. Testing is available by APPOINTMENT ONLY! The El Monte City School District had six of its schools officially named to the Educational Results Partnership 2019-2020 Honor Roll. The Honor Roll recognizes public elementary, middle and high schools that demonstrate high levels of student academic achievement, improvement in achievement over time, and reduction in achievement gaps.
